Great Gallery of Horseshoe Canyon, Utah USA
Be Warned: This is not an easy site to visit. It requires a very long drive on poorly maintained dirt roads and a 7 mile hike through deep sand. No water, no cell phone reception, no services. Plan accordingly.
The Great Gallery is the type site for Barrier Canyon Style rock art. The 200 foot long panel is one of the most incredible in North America. The style is believed to date from the late archaic 2000 BCE to 500 CE.
