Over 100 neolithic petroglyphs found in a Catalonian Cave

over 100 petroglyphs

From El Pais

Over 100 engravings have been identified on an 8 meter long panel in a cave in Tarragona. The images are exceptional both for their uniqueness and their state of preservation. It is also remarkable that they were only initially identified in 2021 by a group of cave explorers.

The engravings seem to have been made with specific tools, much like the engravings we discovered on a cave ceiling in the Southeast United States.

El Pais has an excellent article about the discovery here.
